YOUTH PROGRAM
Our Youth Program is designed for dancers looking to train in hip-hop and street style genres. As a niche studio dedicated to these genres, we provide specialized training that builds strong foundations, knowledge, confidence and performance skill set to our dancers. This program is open to dancers ages 3 to 18 and all levels.
RECREATIONAL TRAINING PROGRAM
Our Recreational Training Program offers weekly classes that are structured based on age ranges and different class levels to ensure every dancer is placed where they can grow and thrive. All dancers interested in joining the recreational training program must complete an assessment day/trial class, allowing our instructors to determine the level best suited for the dancer’s skill set and training goal. The recreational program offers class options that may include performance opportunities include a holiday showcase and/or year end recital.
COMPETITIVE PROGRAM
Our Competitive Program offers Youth dancers the opportunity to seek a higher level of training and performance experiences. This program is available by audition only and is offered to select dancers who demonstrate strong work ethic, skill and readiness for team training and competition events. Dancers must attend either an assessment class/trial in August or September of the upcoming program new year.
PROGRAM CALENDAR STRUCTURE
Both our Recreational Training Program & Youth Competitive Programs are commitment-based and follow the school calendar year, running from September to early June. This structure allows dancers to build consistency, develop progressively, and training with intention through the season.
Whether your dancer is training for personal growth or striving for a future in dance, our Youth Program provides a supportive and challenging space to grow as an artist, and athlete, within hip hop and street culture.

Assessment Day (2026-2027 Season)
Dancers interested in registering for our 2026-2027 Youth Training (recreational) and Competitive Programs must first complete a complimentary Assessment Day prior to enrolling for the program. Dancers will be assessed and assigned within a class that is a best fit for their skill level.
Dancers ages 5 to 18 are only required to attend one of the assessment class dates below:
Thursday, July 16, 2026 - Initial Assessment Day: ages 5 to 17 (CLOSED)
Thursday, August 20, 2026 - Assessment Day 2: ages 5 to 17 (Open)
Please note, Assessment Day class times are based on the following age groups.:
5:45 PM - 6:30 PM - Freshmen (ages 5 to 8)
6:30 PM - 7:30 PM - Sophomore (ages 9 to 12)
7:30 PM - 8:30 PM - Junior/Senior (ages 13 to 17)

STEP 1: Create your account on Dance Studio Pro
This process is intended for Dancers/Parents/Guardians who are new to KSD and/or do not have an active Dance Studio Pro account.
The dancer’s Parent/Guardian must create an admin account using our online platform, Dance Studio Pro. Once your Parent/Guardian admin account is create, add your dancer’s/dancers’ profile. Please refer to our REGISTRATION GUIDE for a step-by-step process.
STEP 2: Register for your Assessment Class Date
Select “Register” on the main menu and then select “Classes” on the dropdown menu option.
Once the page is loaded, select the “Assessment Day (s26) ” option from the sub-menu.
Under each dancer profile, you will see the Assessment class dates your dancer is eligible to participate in. Select the class you would like to register your dancer(s) and scroll to the bottom of the page to select “SUBMIT”.
Review the each of the waiver terms and select ALL of the boxes to agree to the terms. This will prompt a pop-up screen for the Parent/Admin to type their name and input their signature.
FINAL STEP - select “Process Registration” at the bottom of the page and you’re all set!
You will be added to the trial/assessment listing for our 2026-2027 season
Once the trial/assessment is completed, you will receive a follow up from our staff with the recommended class(es) for your dancer

STEP 1: Confirm your active account on Dance Studio Pro
This process is intended for Dancers/Parents who have participated in our previous youth programs and/or summer intensives who should already have active accounts on our online platform, Dance Studio Pro
Please log into your admin account. If you have forgotten your password, please use the “Forgot my password option”.
STEP 2: Register for your assessment class
Select “Register” on the main menu and then select “Classes” on the dropdown menu option.
Once the page is loaded, select the “Assessment Day (s26) ” option from the sub-menu.

Trial Inquiry
Dancers unable to attend our July & August Assessment Dates may request a trial class.
Trial classes are available as early as September 7, 2026 and cease as of February 15, 2027.
To submit your trial date request, please complete the inquiry process using our online platform, Dance Studio Pro - Account Portal. Parents/Guardians will be required to create their own account and their dancer’s profile. Please follow the instructions below for new dancers or returning dancers:
